Based upon a pencil drawing I did a while ago I decided to rework it and do a digital painting of this worker. The original was 3.5k in size and was done in Photoshop and Painter.

Since I have a certain affinitiy with sets I did this worn out entrance of an old warehouse in 2006. Done in Painter.

My parents have this parrot which provided some good reference for this..

A background painting from my time during the movie production of "Back to Gaya". This one is largely based upon 3d Elements, but it's painted over in Photoshop and this is why I don't consider a 3d piece.The Original is 3.5k in size.

After my time at Daimler Chrysler I wanted to do some industrial style. This is why I started doing these very clean concepts of car related stuff. Never quite got the hang of it though :)

Sample Texture Paintings

I had to do a lot of plant texturing on Impy's Island 1 + 2 (on the sequel it have been more than 100 individual plants). Here is a sample from this time.I think this one was actually painted in ZBrush

This is the texture map for a cliff from impy's island. We actually tried to incorporate a lot of the shading on this one to get a more stylised look. You can see samples from the rock in the 3d Gallery/Impy's Island section.

Another CloseUp. Naturally we added a seperate Bumpmap and HighFrequency Map to deal with extreme close-ups

What the hell is this ? This is the tiled colormap of a trunk of a palm tree.

Just a book cover. Contrary to the first look, this one doesn't use photographs. I like to paint in a little shading on a seperate layer to emphasize the materials of the model and to better visualize the final output in photoshop.

This and the following texturemaps are from a leather ball I did for one of the movies I worked on. It doesn't look like much from the texture but the final output is really nice. I will post a picture of it as soon as I have a release on it.

This is the wheel color map from the low-poly humvee I did for Crytek (you can see it in the 3d/Misc Section). It's purely handpainted in Zbrush 3 and Photoshop.
